İsa Akten, a sophomore student at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (COMU), Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Coaching Education, has achieved a significant milestone

Competing in the Para-Climbing Category B (Visually Impaired), which is featured in the Turkish Mountaineering Federation’s activity program and considered a crucial step toward the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, Akten secured third place in Türkiye.

With this outstanding performance, İsa Akten has brought great pride to both our university and the city of Çanakkale. This achievement, gained in a prestigious organization within the scope of paralympic sports, holds great importance for the student’s future national and international goals.
