Vision and Mission

Mission

  • Leading the efforts to expand education and living spaces that comply with universal design principles,

  • Ensuring the training of academic and auxiliary personnel who will participate in research activities within the field of special education,

  • Employing teachers and assistant teachers in the practice unit affiliated with the Center, and facilitating the domestic and international training of qualified staff when necessary,

  • Supporting and enhancing the thesis studies and scientific research of undergraduate and graduate students in various departments of the Faculty of Education,

  • Planning and implementing studies to ensure that proposed projects reach different disciplines and are successfully realized,

  • Organizing national and international scientific meetings such as congresses, conferences, symposia, and seminars on special education topics, and issuing certificates of participation when required,

  • Providing the necessary environment to foster cooperation between the University and the community in the field of special education,

  • Collaborating with domestic and international organizations, and facilitating the exchange of information and personnel within our areas of study,

  • Announcing project results and findings to the public through technical reports, conference papers, scientific articles, and popular media, while encouraging domestic and international participation,

  • Conducting scientific research and academic studies across various branches of the disability field, including education, employment, health, and rehabilitation,

  • Providing consultancy services regarding the employment of our graduated students with special needs,

  • Working with dedication in light of scientific data and in line with the objectives established by the Education, Practice, and Research Center for Children with Intellectual Disabilities.


Vision

Based on the principle of universal design, our vision is to be a university where everyone studies, works, and receives services with equal opportunities. We aim to establish scientific collaborations with organizations across different disciplines and sectors both nationally and internationally, conduct high-impact academic studies, and become the pioneer of a nationwide movement in the field of disability.
